Oppo Find X8 Ultra full specs leaked before official launch

Leaked Specs Reveal Oppo’s Most Ambitious Flagship Yet

The full specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra have surfaced ahead of its official April 10, 2025 unveiling, painting a vivid picture of what the company is bringing to the high-end smartphone arena. These leaks include details on chipset, display, battery, camera setup, and additional features that suggest Oppo is aiming to push the boundaries in multiple directions at once. The information appears consistent across multiple sources and matches early listings tied to the device’s internal model numbers.

Under the hood, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, built on a 3nm process. The device is said to come in configurations up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. In benchmark leaks, it posts strong single-core and multi-core scores, reinforcing expectations that it will compete at the top of the performance charts.

The display is rumored to be a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K (1440p) resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen uses BOE’s X2 material and LIPO packaging to improve brightness and energy efficiency. Reported peak brightness is around 2,500 nits. The phone itself is expected to measure about 8.78 mm thick and weigh roughly 226 grams, which is hefty but understandable given its hardware demands.

Battery and charging specs in the leaks are ambitious. The Find X8 Ultra allegedly houses a 6,100 mAh battery with support for 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. Wireless reverse charging is also in the mix at 10 W. With that charging power, a full wired charge is claimed to take approximately 35 minutes. Ultra-fast charging combined with a large battery suggests Oppo is seeking to avoid the trade-off between capacity and charging speed.

The camera system is perhaps the most compelling portion of the leaked specs. The Find X8 Ultra is said to have a quad-camera setup with native (non-cropping) focal lengths: a 50 MP Sony LYT900 main sensor (23 mm, f/1.8), a 50 MP ultra-wide (JN5), a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3× zoom (LYT700), and another 50 MP periscope telephoto with 6× zoom (LYT600). The dual periscopes are claimed to offer significantly higher light intake compared to the previous model. For selfies, a 32 MP front camera is expected. The camera module is arranged in a circular layout, with dual periscopes placed in the upper right quadrant.

Additional features in the leaks include IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a dedicated “Magic Cube” button or haptic shutter control replacing a traditional alert slider, a satellite communication option (in select variants), dual stereo speakers, and advanced cooling systems. The software is anticipated to ship with ColorOS 15 atop Android 15.

Taken together, the leaked specifications for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra present a device that aims to lead in camera technology, charging speed, and performance. If these specs hold true in real-world use and across markets, this smartphone could push Oppo even further into global flagship contention.
